This is one of the issues that I could never quite wrap my head around. If he's God and he's ALMIGHTY, then why does he need money? It's the old "What-Does-God-Need-With-A-Starship?" question. I personally know of many people who have done this. Seems to be the way to go. You get to talk to your family again, and you can just sorta "slip through the cracks" and disappear.
